Record-breaking revivals, overflow crowds, and thousands of people making decisions for Christ describes the ministry of International Evangelist Perry Stone. Perry, a fourth generation minister, directs one of America’s fastest growing ministries, The Voice of Evangelism. From its 25,000 square foot International Ministry Center, Voice of Evangelism is striving to reach the world with the Gospel of Christ through revivals, television, audio/video media, printed material and missionary sponsorship. Preparations are now being made for an additional 45,000 thousand square foot building expansion to better house the tremendous growth of Perry Stone’s ministry.
Perry began preaching when he was sixteen. He went into full-time ministry and began traveling the nation at age eighteen. By his twenties, Perry was conducting record-breaking revivals, some lasting up to eleven weeks. At this young age, Perry was invited to speak at camp meetings, some with as many as 3,000 to 4,000 in attendance. He continued his education through Lee University in Cleveland, TN and later earned a B.A. in Theology from Covenant Life Christian College as well as a Doctor of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian College. Perry also holds a honorary degree – Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Study from the St. Thomas of Becket Episcopal Synod and in 2001 he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws and Letters (LL.D) from the Wesley Synod. Presently, Perry continues to conduct domestic and international crusades, reaching thousands of people annually.
Throughout his years of ministry, Perry has produced an extensive library of books and booklets, videos, and audio cassette teaching albums, which are available for sale through the ministry. Over the last two decades, Perry has also written and published The Voice of Evangelism magazine. In September of 2000, Perry launched his weekly telecast Manna Fest, which can be viewed nationwide on satellite and Christian TV stations.
He has personally traveled and ministered across America and over a dozen foreign nations. Hundreds of thousands of his cassette tapes, books, and gospel materials have reached believers in nations across the world, and his material is mailed free to the incarcerated. Recognized for his anointed and informative preaching, Perry has been able to breach denominational barriers and find attentive listeners from every conceivable religious background.
Although Perry’s first love is evangelism, he has distinguished himself as one of America’s foremost experts on Bible Prophecy. This recognition is not self-appointed, as Perry is a frequent keynote speaker at Prophecy Conferences, and has been interviewed by nationally recognized Christian television programs. Perry’s world travels and personal contacts with diverse government and military officials has given him a direct link to “insider information” as it relates to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
The Stone Family
Through contacts in Israel, Perry was one of the first American ministers to confirm and publicize the search for the ashes of the Red Heifer. A decade before most Americans had ever heard of the Bible Code, Perry had not only heard of it, but had begun informing churches about this now famous phenomenon. The earthquake fault line under the Mount of Olives, the huge birds of prey in the Golan, and the healing of the Dead Sea are other examples where Perry was one of the first to present the information to American Christians. Perry continues to research the ancient prophecies that are now being fulfilled in Israel and throughout the world.
Perry is joined in the ministry by his wife, Pam, and their two children, Jonathan and Amanda. The Stones reside in Cleveland, Tennessee. | |
