As the teaching pastor of the Living on the Edge radio program, Chip Ingram is the President and CEO of Walk Thru the Bible. Originally from Ohio, Chip made his way to Atlanta by way of Texas and California.
For eight years, Chip pastored a church in a rural area outside Dallas and during that time it grew from 35 to over 400 members. In 1990, Chip accepted the Senior Pastor position at Santa Cruz Bible Church and moved to California with his wife and children. Under his leadership that church grew from 1,000 to over 3,500, reflecting the relevance of Chip’s communication style and the integrity of the message he presents.
While serving in Santa Cruz, Living on the Edge began on one local radio station. Over a decade later, a daily listening audience of more than one million people can hear the program on over 800 outlets across the United States and internationally. Each weekday on Living on the Edge, Chip will take you through God's Word for advice on topics like strengthening your marriage, understanding love and sex, raising children, and overcoming painful emotions. Chip also shares honestly from his own experiences.
In January of 2003, Chip made his way back east and settled with his family in Atlanta, where he assumed his role as President of Walk Thru the Bible.
Chip is the author of the books, Holy Ambition: What It Takes To Make A Difference For God, I Am with You Always, Holy Transformation: What It Takes For God to Make a Difference In You, and Love, Sex and Lasting Relationships.
